Ancient truth.
Living faith.
Unshaken hope.
Our faith is grounded in the written Word of God, centered on Jesus Christ, and lived in the power of the Holy Spirit.
The faith once delivered to the saints
Springdale Christian Fellowship joyfully stands in the historic Christian faith. We are Wesleyan-Arminian in theology, evangelical in mission, and committed to holy living that flows from the grace of God.
The Holy Scriptures
We believe the Bible is inspired by God, fully trustworthy, and our final authority for faith, doctrine, and daily life.
The Triune God
We believe in one eternal God revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit: three Persons, one divine being, perfect in holiness and love.
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, born of a virgin, crucified for our sins, bodily raised, ascended, and reigning as Lord.
Humanity, Sin, and Grace
Every person bears God’s image, yet all have sinned. God’s prevenient grace awakens and enables us to respond freely to His saving call.
Salvation Through Faith
We are saved by grace through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, not by our works. God forgives, justifies, adopts, and gives new life.
The Holy Spirit
The Spirit is received at conversion. He regenerates, indwells, seals, sanctifies, guides, and empowers every believer to live for Christ.
The Church
The Church is Christ’s body, called to worship, fellowship, discipleship, holiness, compassionate service, and the proclamation of the Gospel.
Baptism and Communion
We practice water baptism and the Lord’s Supper as Christ-given signs of grace, obedience, remembrance, and our shared life in Him.
Holy Living
God calls every believer to grow in grace and love. Holiness is not human perfection, but a heart increasingly surrendered to God.
Christ’s Return
We await the personal, visible return of Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead, final judgment, and the everlasting kingdom of God.
Word and Spirit, held together
We welcome the active work of the Holy Spirit while testing every teaching and practice by Scripture. The Spirit always glorifies Christ and never contradicts His Word. We do not practice speaking in tongues.
Questions are welcome here.
We would be glad to open the Scriptures with you and talk through what we believe.
